What is Eco Tan?
Eco Tan is an Australian organic self tanner developed by Sonya Driver. She created her unique formula when her sister was diagnosed with a melanoma. As an alternative to laying out in the sun to get a tan, they turned to self tanner only to find that they were riddled with chemicals and ingredients that were anything but natural. It was during this time that Sonya decided to start making her own organic spray tan solution (from her kitchen) using only organic and truly natural ingredients. Thus, Eco Tan was born!

Sonya’s Story
In 2010 my world changed; I found myself a single mum, and my sister was diagnosed with a melanoma. So we started having spray tans and I began researching the ingredients in the products we were using as I didn’t want toxic chemicals getting into my sister’s nasty scar. I couldn’t believe what I found (even after they claimed to be natural).
It was in these moments that I decided to start making my own Organic Spray Tan solution from my tiny kitchen using only organic and natural ingredients. My love of organics propelled me into this global phenomenon and I hold the enormous honour of being Australia’s First Certified Organic Tan!
